United MS Electronics Mfg Sdn Bhd (UMSE) was incorporated in 1995 to manufacture electronic accessories for its parent company, United MS Electrical Mfg (M) Sdn Bhd. However, due to the aggressive and diligent aproach of its Research and Development Department, the company started manufacturing surge protectors under the brand name "ANZEN", or "safety" in Japanese.

After years of dedicated R&D, the company has emerged a key player in the manufacturing of other surge protection devices. These include the Auto Voltage Regulator which is specially designed for computer and general AC power sensitive equipment. The company has since extended the range of ANZEN products to encompass screen filters and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). The reliability and design of these products have paved the way for UMSE, who has made inroads into the computer market with a good reputation and wide acceptance for its range of products.

The company couldn't have done it without adhering to its philosophy, that of striving to provide products through efficient, quality-driven design and manufacturing.
